“Hey DJ, You’re Fired!”
Unless you are well known and get paid thousands of dollar a night to perform around the world, it’s easy to forget that DJing is a “job”. And like all jobs, they can come to an end. The reasons for being fired or “let-go” are numerous; perhaps your music isn’t raking in the crowds, or perhaps the club owner wants a change in pace. Whatever the reason, it’s important not to take the dismissal personally and use the experience to help land your next position.
