JJ DOOM – Key to the Kuffs
When DOOM isn’t up to his usual off-stage shenanigans or performance hoaxes, he’s actually in the studio producing some decent music. After he found himself stranded in the London home he grew up in, he took the time to put together “Key to the Cuffs” which feature a change in pace from his older style, but retaining DOOM’s vocal quips that we all know and love.
Doom recorded this album in England and you can catch cameo’s from Portishead’s Beth Gibbons, Damon Albarn of Blur, and Radiohead front man Thom Yorke. Fans of the crazy rhyming structures that a Doom track brings will love the new offering from one of Hip Hop’s most underrated voices.
You can check out the the video for his singe Guv’nor below.
