The 3D Printed Guitar Orchestra

With the amount of user end customization done to electronic music making hardware these days, electronic instruments are quickly becoming the next “tuner cars” or “hot rods” of the music world.  Synthtopia had predicted this trend over two years ago, and it seems like their guesses were right on the money.

Dave Marks, a multi-talented musician, recorded an arrangement using various instruments built using 3D paper technology.  Yes, his guitar’s body is completely customized.  Created by Olaf Diegel, it features skeleton style cutouts on a Les Paul inspired body.  His 3D Printed Guitar Orchestra also features himself jamming out on electronic drums and an electric bass guitar.
