DJing Is Hard
Let’s be frank, DJing is hard. More specifically, playing out at your favorite establishment and having everything go your way is exhausting – but the reward for your hard work is almost always an intrinsic feeling of relief. There is only one DJ behind the decks, and that means if you screw up, it’s all on you.
Experienced DJs can be really hard on themselves for not performing the way they expected, even if somebody in the crowd gives them a compliment. There is always risk to be taken, and that’s really the hallmark of a struggling DJ. Don’t fret. Young and old, every DJ has the same sentiment towards his/her work.
