What’s The Difference Between Lounge & Club DJing?
Lounge DJs and club DJ perform the same types of tasks behind the booth, but their roles are immensely different from each other. Both have their own demands of the DJ and both require talent on the DJ’s part.
Lounges are typically more laid back, as the object of the place is not always booze-driven dancing and grinding. On the other hand, sets may be longer and need to be more diverse in order to please the crowd. Club DJs usually have shorter sets that are more focused on keeping the floor alive. Again, this requires the determination and skill to keep the dance floor going at your pace.
