Is The iPhone 5 Now The Only Real Option For Handheld Music Making?

The unveiling of Apple’s next generation of devices wasn’t earth shattering, but significant changes were made that are sure to have people pre-ordering their next batch.  Mainly, the iPhone 5’s design was changed by making it a bit longer.  It doesn’t seem like much of an aesthetic change, but the power plant wasn’t ignored by developers either.

The new processor and increase memory means that mobile app users (musicians), will be able to use better developed applications for their gigs on the road.  Android and Windows users are now left in the dust with little to offer, as app developers will surely favor a more powerful platform.
