GROUP TEST: Kontrol F1 vs Xone K2
Allen & Heath have been making controllers and mixer accessories long before Native Instruments arrived on the scene with their X1. Native Instruments still has had the slight advantage over A&H due to their ownership of the flagship DVS software, Traktor – but does this mean Allen & Heath doesn’t make competitive controllers anymore?
The Xone K2 arrived on the scene at the same time as the Kontrol F1. Both are eerily similar to each other given the 4 line faders, and 16 pads at the bottom. Build quality between the two is on par to each other as well, with the only real differences being the extra set of knobs on the Xone K2 and more spacious line faders.
