Alesis Studio Dock at Winter NAMM 2011
We had the pleasure of being one of the first to shoot video at Alesis. We saw some excellent gear as expected, but the Studio Dock really knocked us out. It’s a universal docking station specifically designed for the iPad, and it gives musicians, recording engineers, and music producers the connectivity they need to create and perform with iPad. Amazing. Check out the video and get a napkin for your saliva.
Video Transcript:Scott: Alright back again, Scott Magno DJ Madflip here with UniqueSquared.com. I’m telling you right now it’s a game changer, Autumn Pitman, we’re talking about the Alesis Studio Dock, let’s holler. Autumn: The Alesis Studio Dock, and I am not kidding when I tell you that this is a game changer. Everybody has heard of the iPad I’m assuming, if you haven’t you’ve been lost in some cave somewhere. Well, this is really for the professional musician, the engineer, the audio professional, we have never had the ability to have true and professional audio interface. Just stick your iPad in there and it works with every single App that works with audio with the new core MIDI through iPad. You’ve got bilateral inputs, dual purpose, you’ve got phantom power on both that’s switchable, you have a guitar and mic line that’s switchable, you have a footswitch, video out. Power charges your iPad or it runs on batteries too. And look at this too, into the iPad MIDI in and out, and in and out USB, headphones volume. This is what every musician needs to perform and play regular recorded audio into your iPad, frickin’ amazing. Scott: Oh my good gravy! That’s the Studio Dock, thank you so much, congratulations on an awesome product, this is just the beginning of everything that is happening with this. Autumn: Just get ready and hold on because we’re moving fast. Scott: Thanks to my girl right here Autumn and you know a lot of cool things happening stay tuned. Be you be unique at UniqueSquared.com
