New Modular Synthesizer For iOS, TANSU

Not every handcrafted iOS synthesizer app for your device is chalked up to what you thought it’d be.  Music Airport’s virtual analog synthesizer “TANSU” is one of those digital devices that are supposed to simulate the “real deal” analog devices, complete with patch cables and messy wiring – but all of this seems to be negated by some serious copyright issues.

The app itself contains a logic box and logic system that can be used with a voltage controlled oscillator, a microphone and even music from your iPod/iPad library.  The problem is that many of their included samples aren’t free for commercials use, so anything produced from this app cannot be distributed and sold.
