Is This Raspberry Pi Synth The Smallest Polyphonic Synth In The World?

Is bigger always better?  Not when it comes to the Raspberry Pi.  Raspberry Pi is small linux/ARM GNU computer that was designed to be cheap and effective – and many hackers are beginning to find new ways to build off of its core functions.  A builder ran his Piana software synth using his Raspberry Pi, and couple with an extra small display, he may have just created the world’s smallest fully functioning synthesizer.

The developer noted that in the context of its usage, these tiny screen are perhaps only useful in situations like this, where multiple synthesizers could sit next to each other without taking up loads of space.
