Pure Data Running On The $25 Raspberry Pi Computer
The Raspberry Pi has been in our newsfeed on multiple occasions, and this says a lot about its practicality. Hackers have used this small but powerful computer before to create miniature musical devices with tiny screen, but this doesn’t mean it can’t be ported to use with larger more feasible devices.
Shawn Greenlee of Pure Data has been toying around with his Pi and program known as Pure Data. Along with some cheap USB peripherals, he’s also used his Novation Remote ZeroSL has his midi device to trigger and effects noises – turning this tiny computer into a working instrument.
