Review: KRK Rokit Powered 10-3 G2 Monitors
KRK Rokit monitors might not be known by name as well as their competition (M-Audio, QSC, etc.), but their signature yellow cone are unmistakable. I for one was clueless about these monitors for a short period when I was learning the ropes of DJing, but I had always seen these mounted on the desks of pro DJ who were giving short demo videos.
These powers studio monitors run from $200 to $500 and represent a mid level purchase, but you’ll see these used by DJs as much as you see production artists using them. With their wide “sweet spot” range and high SPL, it’s clear to see why they’re still popular.
