The Funniest DJ Mime Video Ever

So now that both the DJ and producer are capable of creating songs on their computers without ever touching a turntable or stepping foot in a recording studio, is the rest of that gear really necessary?  Is it just for show?  There has been more than one controversy about top name producers faking their performances at a live show; they have basically pre recorded their music sets and act as if there are mixing it live on stage when they aren’t at all.  Should we blame them for wanting to make their show glitch free?  Or are the fans being ripped off and not receiving something genuine that they rightfully deserve?

Maybe the question of producers recording their set is not as bad when you compare it to a live DJ who fakes a live spontaneous mix.  I mean, it’s not like they have created a song and are selling to audiences’ ears – they have actually gone as far as faking their own mixing skills, which is precisely what a DJ is there to do in the first place, isn’t it?  This video is exceptionally funny when you notice that none of his gear is actually plugged in.
