What Are The Best Software Synths For iOS?
When discussions about DJing come up, the definition of what the DJ actually is, comes into question. Some will always stick to the broader definition of the word, meaning a person who commands the selection of music currently being played. In that definition it does not denote how the DJ is to play music, or whether any of what he does can be controlled by a computer. Some argue that using a computer adds an inhuman layer to DJing. The funny part is that even with digital DJs there is some discrepancy over what is useful and what is useless.
For the most part, even non-DJs could see the advantage and usefulness of using an iPad within the traditional DJ layout. It is small and portable, and it serves a small purpose without taking too much space on the decks. However, some will still argue against then in favor of using a full blown PC or laptop instead. They simply don’t see the value in using watered down versions of software on an operating system that can’t handle the real deal. On one hand I agree that there is a lot of restrictions to using an tablet device with no real computing power.
