REVIEW: Beats By Dre Mixr DJ Headphones

If you are considering purchasing a new pair of expensive headphones, then your options may have included a pair of Beats by Dre. headphones.  These are no small purchase, and once you decide you want to go down this route, you hope that you have actually made the correct choice.  Just like the top end Pioneer offerings, Monster’s Beats by Dre headphones are rather large and menacing.  These are quick to get noticed and will carry much more weight than a cheaper set in the sub two hundred dollar range.  These will likely not be put through much physical abuse due to the thought of losing them carelessly.

Good news if you though they were too expensive for your taste.  Monster has created a gentler version of these headphones known as the “Mixr” headphones.  Although the naming of these headphones does not suggest what they are built for, the price and design easily put it in a different class.  By looks alone, these are much more portable and lightweight; which fold into a more convenient design.  I would guess that their pricing is much more attractive, as not everybody wants an expensive pair of cans that cannot be taken anywhere without much worry.
