Neon & Glow-in-the-Dark Serato Control Vinyl

I don’t know if you were around only a couple of months ago, when Serato released brand new vinyl with misspelled words on the packaging.  In this day and age, that is a pretty serious mistake to make.  Owners of this vinyl were given a store credit, and they Serato made an attempt to sell off whatever mis-printed vinyl records they had.  Oddly enough, to own one of these misspelled record sleeves is almost like owning something limited edition.  At worst, they would make a great conversation piece to talk about.  In light of their past mistakes, Serato has been putting a bit more effort into the fun side of their company.

They are beginning to release more colored vinyls – this time they in fancy neon colors.  These are more of an attempt to give DJs a little bit of creativity behind the decks.  They are all glow in the dark (with proper UV charging), so you can imagine seeing two glowing circles in the middle of a night club.  I do have to say, that colored vinyls are harder to use for a DJ, since you cannot distinguish one groove from another as easily – but with a DVS it is really a non-issue.
