Korg Volca Keys Overview
Buying a synthesizer is not an easy purchase to justify with either yourself or your wallet. The initial cost will typically be higher than anything you are used to, and if coming from a production setting, the thought of using actual analog gear and instruments might not sit well with you. After all, a decent MIDI keyboard or drum machine can do you just as well and offer you much more flexibility. The synthesizer does have a few tricks up its sleeve that no DAW can really match. For one, it is something that can be carried around and transported to any location, without having to plug it into a separate computer or laptop. Number two is that the same type of sound cannot really be emulated with a simple program without a little bit of research and a lot of tweaking in the process.
Korg has simplified the decision making process by offering the common person a deal they really cannot refuse. An analog synthesizer that costs less than two hundred dollars seems unheard of these days, and at the price you’re probably thinking there is not much behind the machine. But these machines have been thought out to produce original organic sounds that analog synths are known for.
