Traktor Kontrol X1 MK2 DJ controller

When products are announced or leaked on the internet, the buzz and speculation grows wild.  Fans and artists have fun trying to guess what the next big thing is.  Some of them are very good at this game, and can guess exactly where the product is headed – some of the speculation is, however, very wild and misguided.  When the product finally reaches the hands of a gentle reviewer, the real thoughts can come in.  While these reviews are common, most readers already know what to expect out of the review – so the final closing thoughts are really what sums it all up.

The Kontrol X1 Mk2 controller was finally released with only slight changes from the original design.  Some see this as a mere attempt to get more money off of a product that is basically the same from its original design, while other see it as a welcomed changed without changing the entire design.  Is the addition of touch strips really something that a DJ can use?  Some may see this as the bells and whistles which are basically unnecessary to have good decent DJ controller.  How you see these additions is really up to how they can be used successfully.
