Vesta Audio turntable and speakers

I think that many of the musical heads out there have their own definition of what music is.  And on the same note, every DJ has their own perspective of what a turntable is to them.  Some of them merely see a spinning disc as a symbol of the DJ – while others cannot stand the thought of mixing linearly, or using a computer screen.  Both parties have forgotten one simple fact about the turntable in general – it is used to play music.  Yes, there are still people who buy records, put them on the turntable, and walk away.  Not everybody is in it to be a DJ.  For people like that, it can be very tough to find a turntable for them.

Many of the custom turntables that are designed for listening are out of the price range of the average consumer.  There are high fidelity turntables that most of us would never bat an eye at.  They might be pretty to look at and listen to, but they are not very kind to our wallets.  A consumer level listening turntable could be anywhere between a few hundred and a few thousand dollars – but you never know who is buying it.
