Best DJ Headphones On A Tight Budget?
One thing that DJs have a lot of these days is choices. They are no longer confined to either being a real DJ or a wanna-be based on the gear that they own, since even the pros will use lesser or less respectable gear from time to time, as long as it gets the job done. The growing pains of switching over to digital have sort of worked their way through to the point where we no longer have to delineate what is worth having and what makes you a poser. Even being part of the group that categorizes other DJs is no longer cool either.
This is good for many people who do not necessarily need to buy the best gear right from the start. What is the point? There is plenty of less expensive gear that will do the same job, where only a picky person could spot out the differences. Headphones are a good place to start. There used to be a time when only two hundred dollars could afford you the best gear. Now, you can get your start at less than a fraction of that and still have enough credibility to wear them out.
