Virtual DJ 8 Is Here

There used to be a time when the most anticipated piece of software was from the big guys who we currently know as the top of the food chain.  That would be Serato and Traktor.  There was a time when their updates were not as frequent, therefore they were much more substantial when they happened.  I guess that they eventually figured that many people could not handle such a big change in one sitting.  So they decided to make little changes injected more frequently to keep the crowds happy.  This type of update process only really works well when you have a large enough staff to handle the task.  All the big tech companies like Apple and Microsoft do things this way.

Then there is Virtual DJ 8, by Atomix.  We have been waiting for a long time to get this software to work.  We have been teased with images of what things might look like and what they might do.  All I hope is that when it is finally released, it lives up to all of the hype that has been built up.  It may be that people are uninterested in the result when it all takes place.
