SXSW 2011 Wrap Up | Unique Squared Mobile Studio
SXSW Here we COME!
With all of our gear packed up, screws and bolts tightened, and a full tank of gas (and some refilling along the way), the Unique Squared Mobile Studio team headed out to SXSW 2011 ready to have a blast. From official showcases to barbecues and non-stop recording sessions, the time we spent in Austin, TX for this years’ South By Southwest festivities were awesome.

We had everyone from Skewby to Skyzoo and J. Nics to Nick Javas come through and drop some gems for us. The days and nights proved to be long and fruitful as word started to spread about the ‘recording studio that’s a bus’.

With so many artists steadily hearing about the bus, we had to throw things into full gear and run a beat-listening, syllable-writing, rhyme-spitting factory. In the end, it did make for some great music and footage.

In between recordings sessions and dj sets, we some how managed to help sponsor the Quality Control/Uniques Squared/Rappers I Know Official SXSW Showcase on Wednesday. The Live at The Beat-B-Q with M-Phazes on Thursday. And finally co-sponsor The Rising Showcase on Friday at The Dizzy Rooster. Whew!
