Show and Prove at The Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival

Show and Prove @ The Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival

Last night’s festivities at Brooklyn Bowl was an exclamatory start to what has proven to be one of Brooklyn New York’s most anticipated events – The Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival.

Set in a great spot complete with bowling lanes and restaurant, the ‘Super Bowl’ component to ‘Show and Prove’ was an event where even before the headliners hit the stage, the crowd was rocking and vibing to good music. These were the finals in which the contestants: Clear Soul Forces, Chris Faust and L.A. went on stage and poured out their all to compete for the opportunity to open up on the Main Stage on July 16th.

The Show and Prove winner - L.A.

Every contestant brought their ‘A’ game but when all the smoke cleared and dust settled, the infectious and bold energy of L.A. was the night’s winner. We’ll be seeing a lot more of this young lady.

The rest of the evening was capped off by rousing and building-crumbling performances from Artifacts, J-Live, as well as Camp Lo who played snippets from their upcoming Pete Rock collab,’80 Blocks From Tiffany’s’.

Be sure keep checking back as we’ll keep updating with all the goings on.
