Remember when you though music of the 80’s was going to be the future of music? Well you were half right. Sure, we have all the computers, technology, and recording devices with us today – but without all the added cheese and videos effects of the 80’s.
For those who love to look inward and laugh at previous times, Chrome Brulee has put together a music video that shares all the aspects of 80’s music video making. In this video you’ll see some classic analog synthesizers, old school cassette decks, and of course some magical white gloves – with cut scenes that’ll have you blasting off into space.

Damn that Kontrol S4 made my day.
So I’ve always loved being a DJ. Everything about it, good and bad, because it is a labor of love. When I started in the 80′s you brought everything to your gig, turntables, mixer, numerous records in milk crates, speakers, amps, cables, etc. Things became streamlined in the 90′s because nightclubs and raves provided existing sound systems and standard DJ equipment in order for one to rock the party. Most times the amount of music I brought in 12 inch form was even slimmed down to account for the 1 to 2 hour set I played along side several other DJ’s during the party. This was the Gig Du Jour well in to the new millennium.
