Peavey PVXp 12 Review

Peavey have been making quality and affordable loudspeakers for decades. Some of the first live sound PA speakers I ever bought were a set of Peavey loudspeakers. They held up for years and while they haven’t seen much use lately, I could set them up right now and they will still sound great. Peavey have continued to improve their lines of both passive and active loudspeakers which has culminated in their latest line the Peavey PVXp series. As the lowercase “p” implies, these are powered loudspeakers which house the same waveguide technology and RX14™ – Titanium Compression Driver as the PVX passive loudspeakers. The only major differences between the “p” and the “p”-less line are the weight (obviously) and the ability to include Peavey’s expansion module technology which we will cover below.
