Legendary turntablist, award-winning producer, and one of the most in-demand dee jays in the world, DJ Jazzy Jeff was in town on tour and stopped by our Mobile Studio to say hi (we helped out Jeff with his recording studio on wheels) and hang out for a bit.

In preparation for Jill Sccott’s Summer Block Party tour, DJ Jazzy Jeff approached UniqueSquared about using our Mobile Studio for the duration of the tour in order to work on his current projects while out on the road. As much as we genuinely wanted to oblige, the Mobile Studio was already committed to several other events which would coincide on the same dates as Jill Scott’s tour. Recently we had the pleasure of hosting some great guitar playing and singing by Grammy-nominated musician Edwin McCain on board the UniqueSquared Mobile Studio.
Edwin and his personal sound engineer Brent Moreland were inside the Unique Squared Mobile Studio to talk about the PreSonus Studio Live 24.4.2 since it is the mixer of choice that they use while out on the road. With 11 albums in the bag and a wall of platinum and gold albums that have sold in the millions, the main thing Edwin is concerned with is, ‘the moment’:

The IDentity Festival in our hometown! Atlanta, GA life has now been changed… for the better of course. Dee jays, producers, and all sorts of butterfly-winged, pixie dust-having, bass cone-loving kiddies came to Lakewood Amphitheatre to have a great time and hail all things bass.

ID Festival @ Charlotte, NC – We’re HERE!
Whew – WE DON’T STOP!!
Yesterday we we’re in the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Charlotte, NC for one of the stops at IDentity Festival and MAN, was it a good time. If you needed a full helpings worth of deep bass, great atmosphere, and all around goodness – then you had to look no further.
