Make Your Own Sample Sets

Sampling is one of those art forms that often does not receive the credit it deserves.  Sampling, like the name suggests, derives itself from taking bits and parts from other bits of music rather than creating them from scratch.  By taking a part of an existing song, each element will contain multiple elements that are much more complex than a single note from a keyboard or instrument.  These days, sampling is very clever and the original sample can be worked into songs in ways that are completely different from the original.  On a basic level, DJs have been sampling since the birth of turntablism.
