The Black Dog Branch into Controllers, With Crowd-Funded Gear

Crowdfunding is a great way to get an idea to the lab and finally into the factory where it can be mass produced.  On the surface, the plan is simple.  You create some sort of mockup of what you eventually want to create – you then pitch this idea to the general public who will hopefully like it just as much as you.  Once the funds come in, you are ready to start producing gear.  The only catch is that, although you already have the support of the people who want to try it out – you do not have the experience of a gear leader who knows how to get a product to market.
