“True” hip-hop has been missing from the radio for a long time now. It’s not that there aren’t artists out there producing genuine rap music with a message, it’s just that radio stations and television aren’t being paid to put it out there. They’re being paid to play what sells, and sell to you they will.

The two artists are staging a minor comeback with their new Life is Good/Black Rage tour this fall.
