In terms of rap and hip hop, how do you define the best rapper alive? The criterion for this judgment parallels the same criteria for how we label DJs and musicians. Obviously, short terms success does not mean much in this industry, and YouTube is full of one hit wonders and viral videos looking for overnight success. To be a well known artist who is worthy of being called the best it takes more than producing music for the masses, you need to have influence. Hip-Hop as a whole seems to have had a greater impact on modern day life than any other genre of music – you can tell if you look at the way people dress. Clearly they aren’t wearing raver beads to school and work.

The not so little anymore “Lil Wayne” has just released the 4th version of his dedication mix tape series. The kid, who started out with only a few bars of lyrics in Cash Money songs years ago, watched himself rise to adult fame with his terse punch lines and raspy delivery.
Unfortunately, the “Dedication 4” fails to showcase any originality or direction in his song making abilities. Much like other rappers, his mix tapes use recycled disposable rap beats that are instantly recognized, however, his rap style and lyrics are also recognizable – almost too recognizable. In fact, they seem unimaginative and tired. Maybe Weezy is getting tired of the rap game altogether.…

Lil Wayne is reported to have made his second attempt to sue the producers who created the 2009 documentary titled, “The Carter”. The documentary, which was created in part by Quincy Jones III who headed the production, details the life of Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., aka. Lil Wayne, and his evolution as an artist in the rap industry.
His first attempt to sue the producers on the basis of “poor portrayal” of him failed, and the judge tossed it out of the court. Now he’s brought it back to court and is suing for unauthorized use of his music in his own documentary. …

So, what’s the purpose of a mobile studio anyhow? Is it merely a huge ego-boosting vehicle on wheels that celebrates Unique Squared and its awesomeness? Well, yes – but it’s so much more than that. I’ve watched this thing grow from just a baby (a rented RV) into a full grown behemoth; this is an actual studio. You couldn’t fit the London Philharmonic in there before, but now this is a full-blown studio on wheels.
I still didn’t answer the question, though, “what’s the purpose?” Well, here’s the first clue – it’s a mobile studio. So, in essence, this will be a mobile way for Unique Squared to tour the US and record music. Then, for you, this means you’ll have a new outlet for discovering new music.
Let’s pick just one genre – hip hop. Now, this bus will afford them folks at Unique Squared the ability …
