Your Worst Performance Nightmare Comes True

No matter how prepared you are as a performing musician, there is always going to be opportunity to make mistakes.  The worst mistakes are the kinds that are usually prepared for, yet they happen anyway.  A guitarist can spend an hour in rehearsal, getting ready for their guitar solo at the correct moment, only to have their guitar on “off” when it is time for the lick.  Blunders are also made by some of the best performers out there.  A touring artist once forgot what city he was in during his performance, and shouted out the wrong city and a concert.  How embarrassing.
