Pioneer has certainly been busy in the past few months releasing a series of controllers that fit the needs of different DJ’s from the active professional controllerist like the Pioneer DDJ-SX, to the casual, mobile, bedroom DJ with the Pioneer XDJ-Aero. The Pioneer DDJ-WeGO falls into the latter category with all of the features that you can come to expect from an affordable DJ controller, but with the build quality and attention to detail that comes from Pioneer DJ products. DJ Controller Comparison: Numark MixTrack Pro, Hercules RMX 2, and Pioneer DDJ-WeGo

With only a few months left before Winter NAMM many companies in the DJ controller market have decided to hold off before releasing anything new and fresh. The exception of course being Pioneer who will be releasing the Pioneer DDJ-SX in November. You can expect a full review of the DDJ-SX as soon as we get our hands on it. In addition to the DDJ-SX, Pioneer has also released a controller that fits into the affordable and portable DJ market with the Pioneer DDJ-WeGo.

The sleek looking Pioneer DDJ-WeGO and DDJ-AERO were introduced on the market a short while ago, and other than their small size and shiny finish, it was hard to differentiate this product from other less flashy items on the market.  Although they look small and compact, there are plenty of options and settings to play with, and this actually makes it difficult for users to get started.  DJs who already own it may in fact be missing out on important details as well.
