Watch and learn – Pioneer’s new stuff explained

The sleek looking Pioneer DDJ-WeGO and DDJ-AERO were introduced on the market a short while ago, and other than their small size and shiny finish, it was hard to differentiate this product from other less flashy items on the market.  Although they look small and compact, there are plenty of options and settings to play with, and this actually makes it difficult for users to get started.  DJs who already own it may in fact be missing out on important details as well.

DJ Expo 2012 Pioneer XDJ-Aero

Pioneer’s latest venture into the controller market is the XDJ-Aero, a DJ controller that syncs with your mobile devices like your phone or tablet wirelessly. By downloading the free application or using the rekordbox music management software.  You can do some cool things with your mobile device like setup all your sets or adjust beat grids on the go. It’s an interesting controller for a company like Pioneer who are more or less the gear of choice when it comes to professional touring DJ’s who play the large clubs and massive festivals. Their first set of controllers the DDJ-T1 and DDJ-S1 were four and two deck controllers respectively and boasted the same feel and design one would come to expect from Pioneer and at a price conducive to much of the high end Pioneer gear.
