Out of the many fun and useless music apps that are available for iOS devices, Propellerhead’s “Figure” app is one of the more memorable ones. The problem is that it would be hard for someone who is searching for music creating apps to find it, out of the vast sea of apps that are available for download. There’s an app for almost every type of music producing device out there, from hardware synthesizers to emulated software. If you type in “drum pad” into the app store you are bound to find hundreds of apps that do exactly the same thing, with varying levels of quality and development behind them.
“Figure” is special because it takes its cues from a rather complicated piece of software, Propellerhead’s Reason, and packages it up into an app that takes less than five minutes to learn how to use. For those who’ve already spent …

To give everyone a sense for how the Nektar Panorama P4 integrates with Reason and its extensive library of plugins, we decided to shoot a brief demonstration on how all of that works. In this demo we feature the plugins Thor Polysonic Synthesizer, The Echo and The Aligator Triple Filter Gate. This is obviously a small sample of the library of plugins featured in Reason which is a software worth checking out if you havent already.

So we just wrapped with the final edits on the Reason 6 Unique Perspective and I just wanted to take some time out to put throw my final thoughts down about Reason 6.
When the idea was pitched to do a video about Reason 6 my knowledge of the DAW was, to say the least, weak. For those of you that still don’t know what Reason 6 is, I’m talking about an all in one music production and recording suite. It is a complete package in a box and although there are a plethora of recording suites out there, Reason 6 stands out because of it’s ingenius design. Designed in Sweden this software has a sense of European practicality to it, as everything is laid out in a well thought out and efficient manner.
