Nektar Panorama P1

As the size of controller begin to shrink down to something the size of your palm, the developers are always on the lookout for better ways to sell their product.  Controllers like the Novation Dicers and Novation Launchpad are built to a certain specification – so that they can be mass produced with error or technical problems.  The end result is a controller that is both affordable and useful by many.  But at the incredible value that they present themselves to be, they lack class.  Many of these controllers use LED lit buttons and dials to basically add bells and whistles to the setup – but the true refinements cannot be had since they are manufactured in a factory setting.

A controller like the Nektar Panorama P1 certainly looks cooler than the rest.  It size is closer to the thickness of an iPad rather than that of a closed laptop.  …
