I discovered raves and techno music back in 1991 when I was living in Orlando, Florida.  Nightclubs like AAHZ at the Beachem Theatre and The Edge provided my introduction into the DJ scene.  My love affair continued in 1992 when I moved to Virginia where the music scene thrived in close by Washington D.C. and Baltimore.  Back then we were fans of all of the music and really didn’t care about classifying different styles or genres.  We were very fortunate that the promoters booked very diverse DJs and Live acts, therefore giving us the exposure to many different types of music styles.  I loved it all, but being from Florida and having b-boy roots made it very easy for me to gravitate toward the breaks.  It was a good time for it, because so much was being produced in Florida, California, Baltimore, and even Texas.  The U.K. was even killing …
