| Description | Authentic piano touch, grand piano sound, SD card storage for MIDI file playback, and much more.
The Casio Privia PX-3 stage piano offers ivory-like keys for authentic piano touch to capture every detail and nuance of your performance. The limited edition Privia keyboard's 88 scaled hammer-action keys provide the weight, feel, and resistance of a piano without sacrificing portability. The Casio PX-3 is ready for the stage as it redefines the digital piano category with unprecedented sound quality and performance in a sleek and portable package. Included grand piano samples deliver incredible realism and expression. Four layers of stereo piano samples are integrated into Casio's proprietary Linear Morphing System for a grand piano sound with seamless transitions and superior dynamics. The Privia PX-3 also simulates the sound of the open strings when the dampers are raised by the pedal using Acoustic Resonance DSP (digital signal processing). The Casio PX-3 electronic piano offers 128-note polyphony and the ability to layer sounds and use the damper pedal without the worry of dropped notes. Combined with control over filter, velocity curves, a 4-band EQ plus insert effects, Privia PX-3 piano sounds can be customized to suit your needs. In addition, there are 250 onboard tones, so that the portable PX-3 can cover all of your musical needs. With full editing functions, insert effects, and the ability to use tone modules and software-based instruments, you have complete control over your performance. Weighing less than 24 pounds, the Casio Privia PX-3 can easily be carried to rehearsals and gigs. Casio provides 1/4" outputs so you can connect your Privia PX-3 to your keyboard amplifier, PA system, or recording gear. The portable PX-3 also has 1/4" inputs so you easily connect another instrument or device to the Privia keyboard, which eliminates the need for a mixer. For control over your sound during performances, assign switches for modulation, rotary effect speed switching, portamento effect, or other functions. If you're using a computer, simply connect the portable PX-3 using a standard USB cable. The Casio PX-3 uses a class-compliant MIDI driver, so there is no software to install. In addition to global reverb and chorus effects, the Privia PX-3 keyboard has 64 insert effect choices available for two tones simultaneously. Unlike typical digital pianos, the Casio PX-3 offers tone editing with control over attack and release times, LFO's, fine-tuning, filter and more. Using the Privia PX-3's 250 built-in tones as a starting point, you can apply effects, edit envelopes, and layer and split the keyboard to build entirely new soundscapes. With the Casio Privia PX-3's SD card storage, you can playback standard MIDI files that contain backing tracks using the portable PX-3's internal sounds or MIDI data for connected MIDI instruments. In addition, you can connect the Casio PX-3 to your computer using a USB cable to save the internal registration memory or to share data with other Privia PX-3 users. |
