Review by B.Funkthe iLok is one of those necessary evils. You have to have it for some software and some plugins, like Pro Tools 9 and Waves plugins. It's handy, I'll give it that - I can plug it into a USB port and then forget about it. And it's nice to not be locked into software-based DRM that punishes you for buying a new hard drive or adding more memory to your PC. If you need it, Unique Squared is the best place on the internet to get it.
