JBL JRX125 Features:
- Dual JBL low frequency drivers with a 64 mm (2 1/2 in) diameter edgewound ribbon voice coil which provides more crosssectional wire area in the voice coil gap than round wire designs, for greater efficiency and power handling.
- Ferro-fluid cooled compression driver with titanium diaphragm improves high frequency performance as well as system reliability.
- The advanced network topology crossover design shapes frequency response and delivers coherent summation in the crossover region.
- A "Quasi 3-Way" design offers the extra bass for which a dual fifteen system is designed, but without sacrificing performance in the critical mid-range. The upper woofer produces mid-frequencies and bass, while the lower woofer concentrates on bass only. The reduction in mid-range phase cancellation greatly improves midrange sound quality and coverage

Dual 15" speaker systems have become one of the most popular configurations with DJs and musicians who are looking for more low-frequency performance while maintaining the simplicity of a single-box system. The JRX125 is actually a "quasi three-way" design. This means that the upper woofer covers lows and mids. The bottom woofer uses a lower crossover frequency and covers only lows, acting as a built-in subwoofer. So you get the extra low-end of a dual 15" rig while maintaining the superior mid-frequency performance of a single driver system.

Review by DarrylYou really can't beat this combo for this price. Excellent power, clean, clear sound, no hum. This is an excellently matched up set. It is an excellent bargain for the money, and Unique Squared has got you covered all the way, down to including the cables with it. Plug and play, what more can you ask for? The only con I can think of is that the handles on the speakers could be designed a little better. Don't get me wrong, the quality of even the handles is great, and they will probably outlive me, but they are just assembled at a way that makes them kind of difficult to carry. but you know, at this price if that is the biggest complaint you can find. I bought my first of this combination approximately a year and a half ago, and have been so pleased, and being time to expand, I just ordered 2 more sets, and a set of the jrx115s with a Behringer EP2000 to put on poles. You can't go wrong here.
