The LSR2328P Bi-Amplified Two-Way Model is based on an 8" (203 mm) long excursion woofer and a 1" (25 mm) soft dome tweeter. It includes balanced XLR, balanced 1/4" TRS, and RCA unbalanced input connectors to allow connection of professional mixing consoles, computer audio interfaces, audio visual equipment, and consumer audio systems. A detented level control allows fine adjustment of individual speaker levels to balance each speaker in the system. Low Frequency and High Frequency Trim controls let you tailor the speakerメs response to preference or room acoustics. A neoprene rubber pad on the bottom of the speaker provides acoustic isolation and increases stability when the speaker is placed on a speaker stand or a console top. Mounting points are included and the enclosure has been reinforced for safe mounting using industry-standard mounting hardware

While most manufacturers take only a single on-axis measurement of the speaker's performance, this doesn't tell how it will sound in a room. JBL's LSR design criteria requires seventy-two measurements yielding more than 1,200 times more data, enabling JBL to engineer a speaker system that sounds right and is accurate in any room. A trademark of LSR Design is the custom waveguide that delivers superior imaging and smoother frequency response to your listening position.
High OutputEach model in the LSR2300 line produces exceptional sound pressure level (SPL) through JBL-engineered high-sensitivity transducers, high-output amplifiers and careful attention paid to the thermal properties of the system. Since heat is the enemy of output, JBL developed a low frequency port that doubles as a means of cooling of the amplifier output devices. Before becoming a production-ready design, every LSR2300 model survives the JBL Power Test in which the speaker must play at full rated output for 100 hours continuously, without failure.
Exceptional Bass ResponseToday's music styles, film production and the demand for high-quality audio for HDTV require a monitor system capable of extended low frequency performance. To address this, JBL engineered new long-excursion transducers with high-flux motors. A custom tuned port works in concert with the transducers to produce deep and accurate Low Frequency Response, previously unavailable at this price point.
- High Frequency Transducer Tweeter Reproduces high frequency signals
- EOS Elliptical Oblate Spheroidal Wave Guide with Elliptical Tweeter Aperture Ensures the combination of direct and reflected sound arriving at the mix position is neutral and accurate. The Elliptical Aperture opening in the wave guide around the tweeter optimizes high frequency performance above 10 kHz.

great speakers, questionable standsAll my reviews (1)September 27, 2010

Review by AshleyFor the price this bundle is still an excellent deal. The JBL LSR series with it's room mode correction technology is very impressive. I have not had to go back and fix a mix due to inaccurate monitoring. The listener fatigue with these monitors is minimal. Even at very loud volumes I can go for many hours before my ears get too tired to continue the session. The sound of the speakers is fairly neutral, not as silky and fun as some other high end brands such as Genelec, but perfectly pleasant. My biggest compliant about the Unique Squared deal is the stands they bundle with the speakers. The bolts that hold the stands to the bases disintegrated while I was assembling them, and they generally seem a bit wobbly and scary to put expensive speakers on. My only other complaint is the RMC process is a bit of a headache and JBL still hasn't released OSX RMC software for the LSR series as of late Septmber of 2010, even though they claim on the website and in the manual that it would have been released in the Spring.
Yes, I recommend this product.
