The PRX612M from JBL is the most compact speaker in the PRX600 series. Designed to deliver maximum performance for its size and weight, the PRX612M is ideal for use as a stage monitor or as a main PA for front-of-house applications. It features a 12" Differential Drive neodymium woofer and a 1.5" neodymium compression tweeter to provide clear audio with a wide frequency response. The drivers are powered by dual 500W Class-D Crown amplifiers to provide a strong and efficient performance with low distortion.
The speaker has XLR and 1/4" inputs with loop-thru connectors for connecting mic and line-level devices and instruments. It also features a DSP input section with crossover, dynamic limiting, component optimization, and a selectable system EQ for monitor or FOH applications. Designed for incredible versatility, the speaker has a dual-purpose enclosure for vertical or horizontal placement. It also has a set of 8 M10 fly points and an M10 pull-back point for vertical or horizontal hanging, and a dual-angle pole mount socket for pole mounting.
