Modeling amps have changed a whole lot since the first models came out. The VYPYR 30 is perfect evidence of this. It includes a 266MHz SHARC processor and has two cores for double the processing speed. If you are not sure why processing speed is important, imagine a time when you were running a ton of amp models, stompbox effects and rack effects at once. Were you waiting a long time for your modeling amp to deliver? A fast processor can deliver all the effects in seconds in incredible detail. The VYPYR 30 also includes patented "trans tube" technology to make tones even more realistic, and it has encoder knobs so you can quickly tweak your sound from the moment you plug in your guitar. All of this together makes this model amp the perfect companion to the modern guitarist.

  1. Awesome Practice/ stage amp Review by Dolma
    Rating

This is my first guitar amp. It's Awesome. Great for metal. I have PRS Tremonti it sounds awesome with it. I would use it for practicing and stage performances too. It's loud enough to manage a small or medium gig, Mic it up for larger gig. (Posted on 12/11/13)

  2. Not quite a five-star Review by Miles
    Rating

Let's put it this way. Everything it says it's supposed to do, it does. And it does it well! However, It's not the kind of amp I would use in a big show setting, or most recording situations. The effects and cleans are especially good, but I would probably use something else for distortion. (Posted on 2/12/13)

  3. GREAT amp! Review by Brody

THis amp gets some great tone, and has some killer effects! (Posted on 1/14/12)
